The Bolognese is a very healthy breed and does not have many health concerns. Possible health concerns include luxating patellas.

For the Bolognese  breed, it is important that dogs picked for breeding for the betterment of future dogs, have their eyes and knees checked.  More information on health testing can be found at the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (offa.org).

Aspen Villa Kennels has all of their breeding dogs' eyes CERFd and Patellas checked once every year.  Upon request, we will be glad to provide copies of the parents' health certificates.
